The Yamhill County Search and Rescue Team is a nonprofit 501 C 3 organization. Although we do receive some funding from the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office for vehicles, insurance, and uniforms, the majority of our funding comes from public support in the form of donations and fundraisers such as our annual Christmas Tree sales, Tee Shirts (see below), and special events. Your TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation helps provide equipment and training for the team.

To order a Tee Shirt please click on either the button or text below the photo of the design you want.
YCSAR extends appreciation to the following companies and individuals for their significant support, listed in alphabetical order:
– BakeWorks
– Columbia Distributors
– John Davidson, who funded the purchase of a drone (see below).
– Newberg Early Birds Rotary for their donation to purchase Starlink which allows us to see everyone’s location and tracks in real time (see below).
– Les Schwab Tires
About the drone: DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced – Compact Commercial Drone with Thermal and Zoom Dual-Camera, and Spotlight and Loudspeaker Attachments Built for Search & Rescue.

About Starlink: Starlink allows the ground management team and all searchers to view every searcher’s location and their search tracks in real time. Starlink was funded by Newberg Early Birds Rotary.
